Portrait of an impassioned chef  in love with cuisine: David Mollicone

This is the story of a young boy from Cévennes who learns to cook with his grandmother. The young boy grows up: Passionate about cuisine, David Mollicone decides to make a profession out of a childhood love. Haute cuisine—French, then Italian and Asian: his experiences multiply. Cultures, peoples, and encounters that he incorporates in his cuisine.

For love of the trade and for love of the place, he has now come back to his roots, to Villa Augusta, to set up his own house. A love that he expresses through a mix of his roots: from Cévennes, Provençal, Asian . . .

Skilful creations that are also inspired by the love he holds for his wife, Priscilla. Both have used their passion to offer you a gift of pleasure.

His career

After studying with Michel Bras in Laguiole, he then enters the kitchens of Gualtiero Marchesi in Italy, and then those of the Pourcel brothers in Montpelier. He then takes off to Asia for nine years: Singapore, Korea, Australia, Japan . . . voyages that inspire a distinct mark on his cuisine.
