Grignan Castle
Grignan Castle crowns the village of the same name. The Marquise of Sévigné alludes to it often in her Letters, and often stayed there with her daughter, the wife of the Count de Grignan. It is one of the most beautiful Renaissance palaces in south west France.
Village of the Garde Adhémar
The village of the Garde Adhémar is considered as one of the "most beautiful villages of France". This "perched" village has conserved its medieval ramparts and the remains of its castle and former residences. It offers an unrestricted view over the Rhône Valley and the Vivarais Mountains.
Crocodile Farm

Ardèche Gorges
The Ardèche Gorges are less than one hour by road from Villa Augusta. It is one of the most visited sites of the Ardèche department and surrounding regions. You can go caving and climbing; go down the gorges in canoe, kayak or rowboat; go hiking or bungee jumping, and much more.
The markets of Provençal Drôme
The Drôme is also known for its markets rich in scents and colours. There is a different market every day. In summer there are Provençal markets and in winter there are truffle markets.

As the most important truffle-growing region, Tricastin opened the House of the Truffle and Tricastin where you can explore the "mystery" of the black truffle: explanations, videos, expositions . . . that can deepen your understanding of this ingredient essential to Drôme country. At the House of the Truffle and Tricastin, you can also discover and sample the "Coteaux du Tricastin", wines of the region's landowners.
Grangeneuve Domain (Wine-Growing Estate)
The Grangeneuve Domain (Wine-Growing Estate) is spread over 68 hectares in the commune of Roussas. It belongs to the Bour family, which has produced renowned quality wines since 1964. You can visit the Domain as well as the wine-sampling cellar.
